Intro to Monica Anne Books

I guess I should do this right and have an introduction of sorts. 

My name is Monica Anne, or at least that's my pen name. Monica is really my first name and came from Monica from "Touched by An Angel." Anne is truly my middle name and is from Anne in the Anne of Green Gables series. I like my privacy and my middle name, so I'm just going to stick with those. Or maybe I'm a super secret ninja spy that has to keep my identity hidden. ;)

I am a writer, a marketer, and an entrepreneur. I have a day job for now.

A few years ago, I discovered my passion: writing.  I've always enjoyed writing and books but had so many other talents and loves that I wasn't sure what I truly wanted to do with my life. I'll talk about what you can do to discover your passion in life in another blog or provide a link to a page on my website. 

So, what am I doing with that? I'm writing a young adult, fantasy series. The first book is already written and is in the beta reader phase. Depending on when you read this, I might be writing other books or book series. I've written a few short stories too but haven't published them yet.

All about me in rapid fire... I just got married. I just moved into a house that my husband and I paid to have renovated. I have a BA in Public Relations and Marketing. I have two kitty cats. I have four brothers from a split family. I like sweet tea and tequila but not together. 

I also have loads of medical problems that are just annoying: Hashimoto's, asthma, migraines, arthritis, MTHFR, Chiari malformation I, allergies, and gluten intolerance but will get into all that another day. I love photography! I am also pretty tech savvy and would love to learn code for, well, everything! I love languages and traveling. I've been to China. I know some Spanish, French, and Japanese, but I haven't mastered any of them. I have Facebook pages for my Entrepreneur / Marketing work, my photography (Fire Fly Photography- website), and writing / author page. I'm also on Twitter; I only use my book/personal one.
